This is part of why minor parties have very little success in the US (as well as a consequence thereof). The only people odd enough to become activists for and leaders in a quixotic organization are weird, and the normal people who would share their beliefs are independents or working within one of the major parties.

There is ample evidence Mossad was involved in 9/11, and saying so is not "anti-Semitism". Israel is a country, not an ethnicity.

I’m unsurprised given Cynthia McKinney buys into the weird Khazar idea thinking most Jewish people are Turkic. The people in the Independent Green Party are just the most awful people, not even Cynthia McKinney’s second most recent member party in the Libertarians wanted them.

Thank goodness Howie Hawkins along with a diverse coalition of ecosocialists purged them over the course of more than two years.

LOL at people reporting my post. Weird that the accusations lobbed at Russia are never considered anti-Slavic bigotry.

I don't think Mossad was involved in 9/11 but believing so is not inherently antisemitic. Your posts should stay up.

More evidence of horseshoe theory. The Green Party is a fraud anyway.

It was those darned Jewish space lasers again, no doubt.

45-minute YouTube videos by breathy neckbeards don’t count as evidence, though.  What else you got?

The US green party has long been an incredibly unserious entity, and this is just more evidence of that. It's a shame, because having another party on the left that could compete in what are currently 80 or 90% Democratic districts in major cities could be a good thing for making sure that elected Dems in those areas stay responsive to the needs of their constituents.

McKinney has exhibited a tendency to latch on to uncritical conspiracies for some time, especially 9/11 trutherism and most recently Trumpian lies about Covid. Even in Green circles it's generally agreed upon that she was a poor choice for president in 2008. Fwiw, she now identifies as a libertarian and was a featured speaker at the 2018 Libertarian National Convention as well as the Q-Anon "Red Pill Expo" last year.

All outdated and misleading information. Cynthia McKinney hasn’t been relevant in the party since her presidential run, and has been an outcast within the party until she left in 2018 to her first stint as a Libertarian. Since 2006-7, the right factions of the party have thrown a hissy fit for the fact that they don’t get promoted from all the lack of work that they do, and they have either packed up elsewhere or have been pushed out.

The final straw was when Howie Hawkins rightfully won the primary and the last stand of the Green right left, leaving the Green Party being mostly made up and now led by ecosocialists. Cynthia McKinney now is in the IGP, a gathering of a decade and a half of splinters;Ba’athists, crypto-Republicans, Newage freaks, and butthurt losers in Democratic primaries are all out and I’ve pointed this out perhaps 20 times since 2020. Not only did I point this out in the third party presidential election threads, but BRTD has made an exact copy of this thread smearing the Green Party with this ex member multiple times.

Again, the GPUS may “splinter” the vote, but lying about your opponent like this is grasping at low straws.

Didn't she lose her primary to Hank Johnson in 2006? I don't like Johnson, but I can only imagine how much of an embarrassment McKinney would be to Democrats if she were somehow still in Congress. She would be paired with the Squad in anti-Democratic ads by Republicans.

Yes, she edged out Johnson in the first round of the primary, but lost the runoff decisively (59-41).  Interestingly, the runoff had higher turnout than the first round.

I don’t like Jimmy, but he’s never said something this heinous. This is more like Caleb Maupin outing himself as a follower of Alexander Dugin and his attacks against the “Synthetic Left”. Like him, Cynthia McKinney is also not on the left, in fact both insanely think protests in Colombia and Myanmar are funded by George Soros
