This is one of the most iconic sports rivalry over the last 20 years. It seems that James is a better player than Bryant at almost every part of the game from scoring to passing to defense to rebounding etc. Maybe Kobe is a more entertaining scorer to watch? What do you think?

Like MJ, I think Kobe probably had an edge over LeBron in mental toughness and drive to be great. On the court, Kobe was probably more clutch at the end of games and in the big moments. Kobe was also a lot cooler whereas LeBron is super cheesy and whines a lot.

Boy, you sure got him.

He is definitely a better mid-range scorer than LeBron and that is extremely beneficial in clutch situations when you need a star player to score in ISO moments

One of these is yet to be comparatively tested, but that day will come.

LeBron pretty much leads Kobe in nearly every career stat and really while people try to argue 5>4 the more important factor is LeBron has 4 Finals MVP to Kobe's 2 .

Kobe had Shaq we must all remember that, so Kobe won 2 titles on his own

The reason why LeBron is better he has muscle on him, the reason why Clippers can't win they don't have LeBron James and Leonard pulled an Anthony Davis

He did have that one game where he scored 81 points. LeBron hasn’t come close to that in a single game; only Wilt Chamberlain ever did better.

But other than that, I’m not aware of any stats where he beats LeBron. LeBron even has better points per game, FG percentage, and 3 point percentage, despite a perception of Kobe as the ultimate shooter.
