Here's my Dole wins in 96' scenario.  Dole gets Colin Powell to run as his running mate after almost constant hassle.  Some feel Bill Clinton is too far to the right and want a liberal ticket.  This causes a ticket of liberal activists Ralph Nader and Jesse Jackson.  Some Dems are still angered by this ticket and decide to run Mario Cuomo and Robert Byrd.

Cuomo/Byrd 137
Clinton/Gore 63
Nader/Jackson 18

Of these men, I believe Anderson would've been the best President.

Mondale wouldn't have been bad, but I think Anderson would've been more effective.

I think that if Perot wouldn't have "dropped-out" and then "re-entered" in '92 & had he chosen a running-mate other than Stockdale, he could have won.

Definitely.  We could have used those 4 years without Reagan.

Perot in 92. Perot would have been a godsend to the Jay Leno's of the world.
