It's really no Hell if you think about it in Thor v Loki, they showed at the end of the movie Loki creating Hell when Thor and Odin destroys Evil.

If you think about it, if it was Hell, how is the Devil creating havoc on Earth.

Revelations said the Demons will be estinghished in a fiery Hell

People confuse Purgatory, Astral Plane and Underworld, like Catholics believe in Purgatory and Pope is a stand in for God

You gotta believe that there will be a Rapture there one day, if you don't you will believe in the wrong thing that people go to heaven and hell after death

You create your own hell based on your own thoughts and actions. It will last until you can finally let go and move on. How long it lasts depends on you. It could be days, months, years or even an eternity.

Who goes there? People who rejected God in some way or another.

Why? Because people are inherently evil

How long? Not forever, but still a long time.
