Here's the link for the extraordinary Corker ad: http://www.bobcorkerforsenate.com/video.tb1.aspx?video=commercial15

This is the kind of ad that can change a 1 or 2 point race.

This ad won't save Tom Reynolds, but it is damn good. Hell, it almost made me like him: http://www.reynoldsforcongress.com/trtv3.cfm

Davis' ads are some of the cheapest and unprofessional I've ever seen. They remind me of homemade ones I see on YouTube. Makes it even more humorous that he's going to win: http://www.jackdavis.org/new/videos.asp

Thought I'd bump up this thread; it was buried on page five.

New Steele Ad:
http://www.steeleformaryland.com/benTVad.htm

And a candidate who took large amounts of money from the Bush administration and the national GOP is going to change Washington?  Riiiiight.

If this is the territory Steele wants to play on, then Cardin should welcome it.  I'm sure Steele has gotten cash from Big Pharma and Big Oil, not to mention the various conservative/GOP interest groups who don't give to Cardin.

Cardin's response.

Concise and direct; note the emphasis on party label which Steele has tried so hard to avoid.  And it's good that Cardin got a response up; I was getting worried that he was falling behind in the message wars.  Still, there's only so far Cardin can go with the anti-Bush card.  As I've said before, I hope Cardin's ad blitz for the last two weeks talks more about him, and not just that he's not Steele or a member of Bush's party.  He certainly has a track record worth bragging about.

The overall national climate is such that the anti-GOP approach by itself might well work in a Democratic-leaning state, but I'd be more comfortable with a combination of positive and negative.

Steele's new ad (http://www.steeleformaryland.com/doorTVad.htm) restates his "change Washington" meme, but I'm not sure it'll be so convincing when voters see the R staring them in the face on the ballot.

I wonder what WMS thinks of Madrid's ads. Personally I think they rock. She really goes for the throat:

http://www.madridforcongress.com/node/1019

Ouch. Devestating. And check out this one:

http://www.madridforcongress.com/node/1089

Got to love the tough language used. "Heather Wilson took more money from child predator Mark Foley than anyone else in Congress and as one of just three members on the page oversight board, she did nothing while Foley preyed on children."

Ouch. Very very harsh.

Hahaha, what the hell?

That was one of the dumbest ads I've seen in a while.  I don't think it quite knew what it was trying to say.

That got to be the most down right personally offensive ad I've ever seen... it's fairly swish, but the content is weak and frankly it seems "over the top" I really dont think it's wise for Corker to go so very negative... I can only assume the GOP is very worried about conservative turnout with Ford & Bredensen at the top of the ticket and the GOP weak national position and are trying to get them motivated while trying to "scare" moderates.

It reminds me of Mark Kennedy's lame ass ad pretending to be bipartisan.

Oh yeah, f**k Hillary too for what he said. That's why I've endorsed the Socialist Workers candidate in New York.

That Santorum ad is ridiculous. He is widely regarded as perhaps the most nasty partisan politician in Washington.

So do you think this is one?

http://markkennedy06.com/ads/ads3.htm

Any candidate can cherry-pick their record like that. Hell, I think Sam Brownback is the best Senator on a certain issue (He's one of the few taking a stand against the RIAA). Does that make me or Brownback moderate or bipartisan?

We just watched this in my elections class. I think this is up there with the Fox ad in effectiveness:
