If Jolly Slugg and GoTfan lived anywhere else but Australia, I'd be surprised that they are members of the same party.

It is distinctly possible the Nats walk out on the coalition at this point.
If they do, would the Libs run candidates in National seats and the vice versa in some Liberal seats?

Resolve Strategic poll:

Vote share %: (compared with the May 2022 election)

42% Labor (+9)
28% Coalition (-8)
12% Green (nc)
   5% ONP (nc)
  2% UAP (-2)
11% Others/Independent (+1)

2pp vote %:

61.3% Labor (+9.2)
38.7% Coalition (-9.2)

Poll conducted between 17 and 21 August. Polled 2,011 voters.

This is the best polling for a government party since March 2008.
If the results were based on uniform swing based on this poll, the amount of Lib/Nat seats would be cut in half if I’m not wrong.

I'm actually being accurate. Like Albo was in describing the candidate the Greens ran against him in 2016 as one. (Albo was right on the money: said trot was too left-wing even for Balmain!).

The Greens are dominated by ex-comms and trots in the Eastern States.
Are you an ex-comm or Trot?

And Keir Starmer was a Trot, your point being?

Member for Aston Alan Tudge is set to resign. Unknown what excuse he'll use to deflect from abusing his mistress.

Speculation is already mounting that Josh Frydenberg will take the opportunity to run in the by-election and return to politics.
Aston noticeably went 53-47 Liberal so it will be interesting to see the results of the by-election. ASV, could you see Labor winning Aston?

So Dai Le and her ally Mayor Frank Carbone of Fairfield have decided to create a party in the vein of Jacqui Lambie’s vehicle, called the Dai Le and Frank Carbone Network - with its aim being to be a party representing Western Sydney. Could it gain more seats (and retain Le's) or is it more likely or not to flop/fail?
