Has any TV show done more damage towards political punditry than The West Wing?

Not as well known overall?

Of course, many of the worst types adore both.

Discussion of the "Voice to Parliament" by Elizabeth Byrne.

"No matter how people vote in the referendum, they should know what they are voting for."

How true were the rumours about a snap election?

"No matter how people vote in the referendum, they should know what they are voting for."

That maybe applies more to the Brexit referendum than this one.

A federal one; I only read a few paragraphs about it but the idea seemed to be that Albo would want to see if he could boost his majority after how good the by-election was.

Oh those absurd articles. Leaving aside the optics of early elections that usually erases poll lead, practically speaking this would mean a House-only election, decoupling the house and senate terms. And we know that senate-only elections never go well for the government.

I wouldn't cut short a trip to Japan to meet Albanese either.

Respect to Biden here. Albanese is a pretty unimpressive Prime Minister compared to the great like Howard and Hawke.

Senator Alex Antic suggesting his support for the 'NO' campaign for the referendum.

https://fb.watch/kEtQsU8fy7/

I was talking today to an American woman from California who moved to Fremantle in August 2022.

I asked her what she thought of Australia and she said "Good and Bad". When I asked her what was bad, she said the way the Aboriginals behave. They steal and fight, take drugs and just impinge on others.

When I said "You are from California. Isn't homelessness and shoplifting common place?".

She replied with "Yes, but I've never seen human beings behave this badly."

Moira fans "We are not amused".

I thought she was treated rather poorly in the scheme of a democratic party system. As such, she is now suing the Liberal leader for defamation. That case will be interesting.

Victoria has become the new 'woke' state of Australia.

Moira Deeming is a grifter, much like Antic is. They are much like MTG actually; far-right anti-democratic ideologues who fundamentally despise anyone not white and straight.

Much like yourself.

ABC apologizes to Stan Grant.

Stan Grant should be apologising to us for having to read his drivel dressed as new on the ABC News page.

His Wikipedia lists him ranting after the Queens death and supporting Lidia Thorpe, then states he considers himself a liberal person and that Scott Morrison himself tried to recruit him as a Liberal candidate. Very odd.

Reposted from the other thread.

This story has some quite severe developments:

1. The Policeman was charged with assault.
2. A political candidate in the 2022 Federal election, Andrew Thaler, is pretending to be from the woman's family talking to the media about this woman.
3. That hoax person Andrew had a fight with the family as they were going to the hospital to grieve their dying mother.
4. The mother then died that evening.
5. The Policeman's charges will be upgraded.

Andrew Thaler Pesters Grieving Family

Andrew Thaler was last year convicted of intimidating a woman.
