I know it is from Breitbart, but whatever.

The cop culture has to change. Someone in March here said that it is a "conservative culture"....what's so conservative about that?

Quote
A police officer in Aurora, Colorado, issued a department-wide email recently announcing his retirement and offering his assessment of the climate surrounding law enforcement.

“I am leaving Colorado for palm trees and less communism,” wrote Daniel Bertelson, who is a 16-year veteran of the Aurora Police Department (APD), according to CBS Denver.
“Try to ignore the politicians and media,” he urged his colleagues. “They know nothing of this profession or honor; they’re self-serving con artists, well-dressed pimps and prostitutes at best.”

President Joe Biden recently blamed law enforcement officers for fueling “distrust” among minority communities in a proclamation declaring Peace Officers Memorial Day and “Police Week,” Breitbart News reported May 10.

“Biden’s statement shows how committed his administration is in raising the cause of the Black Lives Matter movement in every aspect of government, even while honoring law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty,” the outlet said.

According to CBS Denver, the number of police officers leaving APD has risen in recent years, growing to over 60 percent from 2019 to 2020.

“That comes as the city is also seeing rising crime rates, a trend seen in other Colorado cities and across the country,” the report stated.

In March, Fox 31 reported Aurora overtook Colorado Springs as the second most violent city in the state.

This is the same department, Aurora, a Denver suburb, that killed Elijah McClain in 2019 and covered up his death until after George Floyd and Breonna Taylor's death....

Aurora isn’t very communist these days. If he wanted, he could move to Denver (even less communist) or of course some of the other anticommunist voting areas in the US.

The closest Colorado ever came to anything vaguely "communist" was roundly crushed by cops, the state guard, and private security in the UMWA labor strike of 1913 which saw the vicious slaughter of nearly two hundred miners, the majority of whom were children.

A lot of these crummy police are pissed they can't do the job the way they've been used to doing it: The unchecked abuse, an entire system to cover for them, a prosecutorial system that minimizes their crimes when they are discovered. If they can't have it this way, they just don't want to be the cops, which shows what their real intentions were all along.

General Secretary of the CCP (Colorado Communist Party) Jared Polis no doubt approves of this move!

Well, if by Palm Trees he means Florida, he will be closer to Communism than he likely ever has been in his life with Cuba as his neighbor.

The most ridiculous thing about this is the intellectual ignorance what communism actually means. I'd recommend the dude a history lesson about the USSR. It would be funny, but it's actually sad by realizing many people have such a mindset.

Do you fear that Florida's policing may be more animalistic, since Gov. Ron DeSantis gave first responders a $1,000 bonus and he downplays police brutality, he does not even discuss it....

A lot of LEO are moving to Florida, the Brevard County police union boss welcomed cops from Buffalo accused of police brutality to come to Florida to live....
