It's hard to think of a more blatant violation.

If this wouldn't violate it, 1st ammendment can't be violated in principle.  This is a direct attack at its heart.

Yes absolutely. As everyone else has said this is a blatant violation of the first amendment.

I would say so, yes. It definitely shouldn't be banned. Companies should be able to target this demographic if they so choose.

Yes. But I do support persuading companies into advertising in English only.

I think my answer is implied by what that statement says.

Do I support removing all foreign languages billboards? NO
Do I support removing a few and boycotting restaurants that put them up? YES

It costs people more money and more time when they have to print things and do things bilingually.  When my grandparents and great-grandparents came to America, they learned English.  It is the language of our country, if you want to come here, you should learn it.  We need to stop accomedating for people so much because they refuse to learn the language.  Of course, Democrats call this racism so they can accuse you of something, but it is truly just staying w/American values.

How do you choose the "few" billboard to remove?

The one's people are attacking, like the one in Bogota, if no one is making a problem, leave it for now until companies realizes Americans won't stand for this

I think a better poll question is:
"Should American companies be advertising in Spanish?"

"Should American companies be advertising in Spanish?"

If their business requires it.

If the companies want to they should be allowed to. End of story.

I never hear this complaint about advertising in European language in areas with lots of immigrants.

Sorry, but it isn't the government's job to babysit people and tell them to earn English, and it isn't McDonald's'!  I'm not boycotting anyone, and I think that's ridiculous.  It is their job to turn a profit!

Back in the day when your ancestors probably immigrated to the US, there were vibrant German, Yiddish, Czech, etc etc medium newspapers in the US. Not to mention, a vibrant Yiddish theater scene in New York.

There also was some Gaelic around in South Boston and New York early 20th century.  Some of the signs in Boston still stand.
