Why would Obama run? If he wanted to, he would have done so in 2018.

Obama has stated repeatedly he is done with electoral politics and wants to be an elder statesmen. It was very obvious him and Michelle were relived to leave the White House

Plus, why would he be interested? The governor’s mansion sounds pretty lousy after being the most powerful man in the world.

Plus Obama just bough a big house in DC, paid by book deals and speeches. Why give that up to live in Springfield
