Affie would have been king, but he died in 1900, the year before his mother died. So, her successor would instead be King Arthur.

The last five British monarchs would be as follows, provided none of them abdicated:
Queen Victoria I (1837-1901)
King Arthur (1901-1942)
Queen Victoria II (1942-1974)
King Alexander (1974-2000)
Queen Katherine (2000-present)

Would it have been?  Did Alfred, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1844-1900) renounce his succession rights to the British throne?  He had living children (including an unmarried daughter) upon the death of Victoria II who would have outranked Arthur, his younger brother.
