I'm off tomorrow so I've decided to get drunk tonight for the first time in weeks, been pretty busy for a while. I'm drinking straight vodka right now, Stoli to be specific. Chilled Stoli is actually pretty damn nice to sip neat.

Probably gonna stick to off-topic now to minimize risk of saying anything I'll regret too much...

So anyway, what DOES everyone like to drink?

Um, Stoli is better than American vodkas, but at least drink something better like Chopin or Russian Standard Imperia, especially neat.

Hey it's what they had at the store for a reasonable price. And I've been a Stoli fan since college, so its taste has a certain nostalgic hit for me that few other drinks do even if in theory they should be "better."

In any case, it certainly works for my purposes tonight!

Hopefully though we can at least agree that Tito's is the most overpriced, overrated garbage in existence. Bought a 20 dollar fifth of that crap once and it was the most I've ever regretted parting with a Jackson. Could have bought at least two bottom shelf vodkas with that and it would have been better spent. Americans don't know how to make vodka, period, and I don't care if you label it as "CrAFt" or "HaNDmADE" or not or how many "awards" you buy to slap on your label. I feel f--king robbed by those Austin hipsters for just buying it ONCE. Never again.

My favourite alcoholic drink I think is either London mule or mojito or a cocktail I have only seen in one place in my city made with gin, grapefruit juice, lime and soda.

Excluding cocktails, I guess Amaro del Capo or limoncello?

Chilled Stoli is actually pretty damn nice to sip neat.

Is this terminology correct?  Chilled spirits would necessarily be served straight instead of neat, no?  Since neat implies the spirit is being served at room temperature

The objectionable part of the first post here is the word 'sip'. You don't sip vodka.

I don't really drink anymore, but I've been a fan of wine lately. I'm still new to it, but I think I prefer white wines.

My favorite beer is...anything cheap and cold. I like Rolling Rock.

My favorite mixed drink is a White Russian.

My go-to is a vesper, though a dirty gin martini or negroni is acceptable as well. Also most any amaro on the rocks, like the uncouth savage I am.

On a warm day when dining alfresco, an Aperol spritz is hard to top.

If I was on death row and was offered one of those last meal things, it would definitely come with a bottle of Nero d'Avola.

Froo froo drinks are always my go-to:
1. Amaretto sours
2. Piña coladas and/or Malibu and pineapple juice
3. Strawberry banana daiquiris
4. Sex on the Beach
5. Caramel Apples (Smirnoff Green Apple Twisteds and butterscotch schnapps)
6. Jell-O shots (black cherry and lime, personal favorites)

I hate beer 🤮
