I am a rather patient person, and I have generally supported being lenient for bumping older threads here that would not be tolerated on other boards. However this has its limits.

A good example would be the Supreme Court Discussion, my saloon thread (usually bumped for elections - great business!), Lumine's Newspaper/Media/Play threads, as in bumping them to resume activity. I am fine with that.

I am not fine with people bumping old threads "because I haven't bumped one lately". There is also a significant loss of context when you bump an old thread and thus take it out of the page in which related matters were being discussed.

If you wish to discuss an old election or ask a question about an old election. Create a new thread, link the old one you are referencing. I am sure Sestak will be much appreciative of the activity it will bring to the board. Also people be much more willing to discuss there then in a thread where most would expect, moderator deletion of modern posts because of an initial necroing.
