I used to subscribe to that back in the day. I was a Pat Buchanan fan in high school.

Pre-Trump I thought they were a pretty good source for my daily dose of Intellectual Conservatism™. If I want to know what the average Republican voter thinks, there's always Breitbart and Townhall and Daily Wire.

Still too intellectual for the average Republican voter. There's OANN and random pages on facebook sharing copypasta of indeterminate age and origin.

I consciously chose not to unfriend some pretty conservative people on Facebook who I haven't actually talked to in real life for 5+ years because I think it's important to see their point of view.

Otherwise, mostly articles in left-leaning and/or centrist outlets like Vox (Sean Illing has some enlightening interviews with conservative intellectuals, e.g. this one), NYT, WaPo, and Politico, plus random books (e.g. I recently read the The Ten Year War by Jonathon Cohn, which delved into reasons why conservatives opposed the ACA). I should probably try a little harder to read conservativism when not refracted through other outlets.

My conservative family members, mostly. I also regularly read the RRH Elections daily round-ups and diaries.

Given that my current real-life social circle is like 99% conservative and my social media feeds are like 80% conservative, it's not hard for me to hear conservative opinions

My parents both have political sympathies on the right-wing nowadays and my maternal grandmother too, so I don't need to go very far.

The majority of my social circle is right-leaning, and we talk about politics a lot, but also I read Bild (https://www.bild.de/) and Svenska Dagbladet (https://www.svd.se/)

I mean, aside from coming here and occassionally seing right wing poiticos or commentators on TV debate shows, I don't go out of my to read right wing perspectives.

Frankly, life is too short, and I have better things to do with my time than to waste my precious time on this planet working myself up into some rage reading some conservative commentators barely disguised misanthropy without even having some ability to respond. There's plenty enough to get angry about as it is, without doing that to myself.

On specific issues? It depends. Sometimes I like to read Russell Kirk and John Rawls just to try & school people as to what their own political ideology is also founded on.
