The district is Hillsborough-21, more commonly known as Merrimack. Nice town, actually. It's a suburb of Manchester, and the 8th-largest town in the state. It's trending hard towards Democrats, but the town is ancestrally GOP and receptive to the Sununu mold.

In 2020, they voted Biden 52/46, Shaheen 56/44, Sununu 69/31, Pappas 50.5/49. The only
Democrat to hold on from 2018 was Rosemarie Rung, and they voted for Daniels 52/48 and Pignatelli 53/47.

In 2018, it voted for Pappas 53/47, Sununu 56/42, Chandley 50.4/49.6, and Pignatelli 51/49. We didn't have a Senate election that year, but Democrats split the 8 seats evenly with Republicans.

In 2016, they voted Trump 50.5/44, Sununu 53/43, Ayotte 53/43, Guinta 47/42/8. Republicans swept the legislature handily. Even Josh Moore, who was most famous for advocating sexually assaulting topless women, won over the nearest opponent 53%.

Gun to my head Boyd by 2. The town of Merrimack is still very receptive towards the GOP downballott and it'll take a while for trends to translate. Plus Sununu has actually taken the pandemic seriously.

Turnout is very high. They actually ran out of ballots - expected 4,000 voters, got closer to 5,000.
