Until NC becomes more blue again in Senate races, and presidential races, I don't give Dems much of a chance. They have to defeat Republicans in the Senate first like Liddy Dole before they can take back seats in the House. It does sound fishy because none of the projections has Shuler winning this race. If you click on all the election projection websites they don't have this race included. I just put this poll up to say that this is competetive, and if the republicans keep their current low level support, it will eventually go Democratic, as of now, no it isn't projected for Dems to win just like OH 18.

They are a brand new company.  Their website claims they have been trusted for years.  Yet they have existed for a few months.  While the key employees have been in the biz for years, the company has not.

They are also hiring out as an internal pollster.  This may be an internal poll.

Not true.  National Journal ranks it as the 18th most likely district to flip (17th most likely among currently GOP-held seats):

I'm pulling for Shuler all the way.  I just hope this poll is somewhat accurate, rather than an outlier.

Taylor actually has been in trouble over issues concerning his family bank, I believe.  So I think Taylor may have a scandal problem, which is why he's in trouble.
