Yeah the Reconciliation package doesn't even have another round of 1400 Stimulus cheques for poor workers only give the Stimulus to people that have kids, but what about Seniors that have grown kids and people just starting off working 35 and under, forget about them

I have no problem with the Reconciliation package but it falls short and people on Medicare already have Dual coverage with Medicaid that pay for all of their medical coverage

That's how Medicare premium gets payed 150 is erase through Medicaid, so Ds are spending money that we already have

You can file for Disability at 55 and get on Medicare so no need to drop Medicare to 60 either

No idea. She's a lock to lose in 2024 regardless if she won't allow voting rights to pass, but it seems like she's trying to lose in the primary instead...

Kick her from the party. She's doing nothing but attention-seeking and being a thorn in Democrats' side. Better to rip the band-aid off now.

Sinema is gonna pass the Reconciliation but she wants to pass it with 2T or 3T just like Blocking Filibuster reform, she wants to make sure she has the Final say in how VR is being done, but she is subjecting herself to a primary challenge when Ds without VR reform looses the H it's not if, it's when due to R gerrymandering, and when Rs Gerrymandered in 2010 we lost Strickland and Hagan OH and NC

Manchin is gonna loose anyways in 2024/ to a credible R challenger, he isn't blue dog he is a pet dog, he said DC Statehood must be an Amendment and DC Statehood would create wave insurance for Manchin in 2024

Sinema made it clear in her remarks that she supports Reconciliation but with less spending and Manchin said 2T anyways

What words did Mcconnell not read into Sinema, she supports starting the Reconciliation package, but 3.5 isn't the final number she wants the D's can certainly cut the proposal, I would count my chickens

Um, in general elections, Yes. Had she lost to McSally, Biden would have accomplished absolutely nothing outside of executive orders.

It's likely that Sinema goes down in the primary in 2024, but if she survives somehow, you've got to still prefer her over Kelli Ward or whoever the Arizona GOP nominates. Her Republican replacement would be orders of magnitude worse.

I can't believe people are here are actually buying into Sinema BS lol
I don't for 1 second believe that she will vote against the reconciliation bill if even Joe Manchin ends up supporting it in the end

Sinema recently met with Biden and this was just posted on the president twitter account

There is no chance biden and white house would be pushing the bill this hard if they actually believed Sinema was really aginst the reconciliation bill. I suspect Sinema is going act like she is against it until they throw her bone and cut it down from 3.5 trillion to 3 or 2.9. trillion...

All but 2 GOP negotiators voted in favor (Rounds was absent but would've voted aye; Moran voted against because stupid):

We were on the verge of the greatness that would've been 69 votes in favor, we were this close.

That’s because it isn’t.  It’s a sh!t sandwich we were prepared to eat to get to $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.

It will help D's get elected but it falls way short of providing Another Stimulus check of 1400 to Seniors on SSA that need another stimulus check that don't have kids and 35 and under that don't have kids and the homeless or low income that don't have kids, what only people that are middle class get stimulus checks, NO, BUT IT IS A BRIGHT SPOT

ALSO, what's gonna bring down gas prices in the short term, this bill only affects climate change and unless you' curb fracking, we still gonna have Brushfires, oil drilling affects climate change

If COVID WAS OVER WE DONT NEED ANOTHER STIMULUS CHECK, BUT THE ORIGINAL 2k we got last time was based on Covid leaving and everyone getting back to work, well people still don't want to work those low skilled factory jobs and you can catch Covid

Wait, this is the exact same $1.2T bill the Biden Administration was promoting over a month ago?  It looks like the numbers are all the same.  What have they been doing for the last month?

Converting that "framework" into an actual bill.

I see.  So if I'm to understand this correctly, the Biden Administration basically got exactly what they wanted... good stuff.
