I'm talking about the "guns and religion" stuff, calling him a socialist, potentially fueling birtherism and whatnot.

At no point did Hillary call Obama a socialist or fuel birtherism. As for the “guns and religion” thing, Obama hurt himself with that remark and Hillary just capitalized on it. Considering Obama won easily anyway then won a second term, with Hillary part of his administration for the first term, it seems blatantly nonsensical to claim Hillary somehow hurt him.

Bernie, however, similarly tried to paint Hillary as an elitist to appeal to the WWC, and that might have actually cost her the presidency.

I guess the real question then is why you are blaming a woman for an effect that didn’t happen because of things she didn’t do instead of a man for an effect that did happen because of things he did do.

What?? I don’t think Bernie ever directly attacked Hillary. In fact, a lot of people blame his loss on not taking the kid gloves off. As someone who watched all the debates religiously and watched as many Bernie rallies as I could, I can’t think of one time Bernie directly attacked Hillary. He only used vague terms like “millionaires and billionaires” and “Wall Street bankers”.

But it’s a primary campaign. He wants the nomination. What’s the point of running if you can’t have any ammo? If a primary campaign attack ad from you own party can destroy your chances in the general election, maybe you shouldn’t be the nominee.

First off Hillary did not start birtherism about Obama. This is a Myth that the right uses to avoid any responsibility for their terrible behavior and actions during Obama presidency. Just look at this article that was written in 2006 before Obama was even the Democratic Nominee for president

 http://www.debbieschlussel.com/2750/barack-hussein-obama-once-a-muslim-always-a-muslim/comment-page-1/#comments

Finally, I reject idea that Obama presidency was harmed at all that much by Hillary or even the GOP BS Birther attacks

He was one of the few presidents to not only serve 8 years, but he is also one of the rare few to have own his VP become president after him. A VP that not only restored and expanded many of his policies, but has also been able to do better in the areas where Obama himself fell short

We have not seen anything like that since FDR and Reagan

No, but after Hillary joined Team Obama and fired Mark Penn and Dick Morris, Penn and Morris harmed Obama’s Presidency and Hillary’s 2016 candidacy and helped bring about the rise of Trump.

She was certainly far more aggressive in attacking Obama than Bernie was to her.

No, Emmanuel was hand picked as WH spokesperson to create jobs he didn't create and he became mayor of Chicago, he retired due to fact he didn't create jobs.

The Ds got the wave insurance seats in 2008, at 257 due to Tahm Emmanuel himself.

Biden is gonna be judged on creation of jobs too
