Isn't one of the elements of the claim against her that she knew her statement was false?  I guess the plaintiff's can check that element off the list.

So she's admitting that she was just playing with the judicial branch. In no reasonable way does this let her off the hook for defamation. Her statements still resulted in real, monetary injuries for Dominion.

I think so too. Obviously Trump lost fair and square, but I think he honestly believes he won. That's what happens when your entire legal team is stuffed full of yes men and crooks.

It does! It's counterproductive to her case. If she's a con artist rather than crazy and knew what she was saying about Dominion was BS it makes it a lot easier to prove actual malice than if she was a crazy person who really just doesn't know the difference between reality and fantasy.

I can't tell why she's doing this, but it'll make Dominion's lawyers happy, because their whole thing is "Powell said things knowing they were bullsh**t."
