Does this song count as country music?

[I spent the winter writing songs about getting better]

It's an emo band. If it does there's at least one country song I do like.

(And for the record most of their songs don't sound like this.)

This sounds to me more like 1990s southern-tinged jangle pop bands like Counting Crows, the Gin Blossoms, or Sister Hazel.
