Booker's delusional, no surprises here.

He's not wrong, but you're exactly right about his electoral prospects. I think Paul could break 60% against him, as I'm sure Booker will do worse than both Gray and McGrath in Kentucky's rural areas. A black progressive Democrat is exactly the kind of candidate who would turn off Trumpists and Republican voters.

Democratic party is just begging to get whipped here. Rand may get north of 70%.

He won't do that well, but I wouldn't be surprised if Paul overperforms McConnell and approaches Trump's numbers in the state (~62% or so) against Booker next year.

I doubt Booker does as well as Gray, but I don't think he'll do worse than Clinton or Biden either. I could plausibly see a result along the lines of 58-39% or so, similar to McConnell's win against McGrath last year.

Does Booker win the same counties McGrath, Gray and Grimes won?

No. The only counties he will win are Fayette and Jefferson. The rest of the state will go for Paul. Booker will get destroyed in Elliott County, which Gray won by double digits in 2016.
