I am of a mind to condense this questioning time unless there are some preliminary issues or concerns the position being filled has brought to our attention, other than that we basically just did this.

So would anyone object to proceeding to a vote after say 24 hours?

We did this less than two weeks ago, but I want to re-iterate that I will serve in this role to the best of my ability. I will make sure to keep in contact with OBD and will do everything I can to assist him in upkeep of the noticeboard and managing the daily duties of congress. I would like to be able to end this in 24 hours for both chambers.   Might not be possible under house rules, but for the Senate, we actually don't have rules strictly governing our final votes.

Its worth remembering that unlike that rushed rules fix last session, this process is actually constitutionally established and doesn't require separate consideration from each other as rules do.
