It looks like Ron Johnson is waffling about running in 2022.

People seem to think that Mike Gallagher will succeed Ron Johnson?

Wasn't he somewhat critical of Trump during the insurrection?

He strikes me as very similar to Adam Kinzinger but maybe a little less vocal of his dislike of Trump.

I wonder who Trump would endorse for this race?

Gallagher? Bryan Steil? Tom Tiffany?

Trump would endorse the biggest rashist in Wisconsin politics.

For sure.

He'd probably get Mike Lindell to carpetbag over.

Not Lindell. Trump needs him for Minnesota. Don't you know who I was referring to?

No. He's a member of the House who pronounces racist as "rashist".

What about Sean Duffy? Or does he go for governor?

He goes for governor. Glenn Grothman goes for Senate.

Ron Johnson isn't retiring he would have done so, as I said before D's have have a 2/3 chance to have a 52/48  and we can win NC and lose NH and we don't have a Gov candidate that can help Ryan win, but he has a 1/3 chance to win just like Rs have a 1/3 chance of winning WI. The Rs have 0/3 chance of winning PA, Fetterman will win

I can’t comment on Gallagher, except that I think if Johnson was retiring he would probably have voted yes on convicting Trump.

Rob Portman and Richard Shelby agree.

I thought Portman was getting ready to convict when he announced his retirement.

He's a weenie.

Ron Johnson would never vote to convict. Retirement or not.

I would say the most likely to get Trump’s endorsement would be Tom Tiffany, Glenn Grothmann, or Bryan Steil.

Duffy resigned from Congress, so I don’t see him running for Senate.
