Today is the one year anniversary of Bloody Monday! When all of the centrists dropped out to support Biden.

Do you buy this ridiculous narrative? How much better would Bernie have done without the dropouts?

Wasn't it Kyle Kulinski who coined that term?

The same Kyle Kulinski who thought that Bernie could still win North Carolina after said dropouts?

Hope the corporate centrism in favor of big insurance and woke agenda pushing driving up Republican midterm support is and will be worth it.

Oh wait, of course it will, because you're quite wealthy.

We were in a Pandemic in February, that's why turnout was starting to decrease among primary voters, they refused to go to polls, so Biden won and of course Bernie public Enemy concert was a bomb

Simple put, I don't think Bernie had a real path to a majority of delegates even if they had stayed in. Them dropping out merely sped up the inevitable.

Maybe ten years from now perhaps, but not in the 2020 cycle.

Had Flav endorsed Bernie with the others he'd be president right now.

Republican opposition to the Democratic agenda has never been because the Democrats are perceived as too moderate.

Bernie would have won Massachusetts and Maine if Warren dropped out.

Emphasizing it as a coordinated attack makes for better narrative for a certain perspective but at the same time, it just emphasizes how narrow Bernie's base was in 2020.

The reason people can get $1,400 checks and ACA access is expanded is because Democrats won presidential and Senate elections that just a 0.6% shift would have swung the other way. It is right that Democrats picked the most electable candidate, rather than someone who could actually be credibly portrayed to non-Republicans and non-Floridians as far-left.

Yeah people forget that he was stuck around 30%, and you can't win the nomination by polling at 30%.

Bernie would have won Massachusetts and Maine if Warren dropped out.

The difference between Bernie and Warren is that Warren is a power player at heart, just like Hillary Clinton. She's just not personally disgusted by appealing to the progressive left like Hillary was. Hillary Clinton is disgusted by "losers" in the same way a high school cheerleader is disgusted by "dorks" and "losers".

Bernie Sanders believes what he says and wanted to lead a movement, Warren is out for herself as saw Biden as a viable candidate that could not be counted out yet.

Also, Warren wanted to be Biden's VP. While Bernie would have wanted Warren as VP, Warren knew he would have to go with someone more moderte
