Van Duyne seems to be another Klobuchar in regards to staff (not electability lol), but it's not that significant an issue in terms of wider impact.

I sense a lot of drama under the surface here.

Van Duyne seems to be another Klobuchar in regards to staff (not electability lol), but it's not that significant an issue in terms of wider impact.

It could potentially be problematic if Republicans fail to make her new district sturdy enough to sustain a full decades-worth of trends. High staff-burnout affects legislative capacity and will transfer damage to campaign staff abilities. It doesn't matter if you're in a safe seat like say Brad Sherman (apparently atrocious to work for according to former staff), but injecting toxicity into the environment your campaign staff work in is bad for electability in competitive elections.

As for Klobuchar, she's a campaigning juggernaut in her own right.

From what I've seen just on her Twitter, she seems like a nasty person.

Of course lots of Republicans like to talk smack on Twitter. But for being in a swing district, she is quite awful.

I always thought she looks like a liberal. Glad she's not one.

Maybe this wouldn't have happened if Van Duyne had denounced Young Kim's homophobia...
