We Democrats have spent a long time trying to figure who our Trump is and these past few weeks are making me think that Andrew Cuomo is the answer: belligerent, corrupt, crude, misogynistic, narcissistic, etc. The only real difference now is that Cuomo at least had experience before getting elected and doesn't have a (real) cult-like following among the party since Democrats don't psychologically operate that way.

It's jfern, they're saying that Cuomo's Emmy means that he does "have a (real) cult-like following among the party" as his receipt thereof would imply that Democrats (obviously in cahoots with Hollywood) do "psychologically operate that way."

Just wondering if we should be calling anyone to resign of any party before they are convicted of something.

I have no interest in Cuomo. Shouldn't he have is day in court though?

Trump never deserved a day in court because he convicted himself over and over and over again in the public eye. But those "lesser" politicians and others who are accused of something, shouldn't we get to the bottom of the problems first before we load our weapons and fire?

As if the rightness or wrongness of two independent actions depends on how the other goes. Trump being depraved has no bearing on whether Cuomo should resign. It's not like Trump's deplorability is an asset either, he lost. These people are saying "If the Republicans are jumping off a bridge with Trump, it's only fair that we do it with Cuomo!"

The silver lining is we have a Progressive as LT Gov and if Cuomo is forced out we will get a more liberal redraw of the Congressial map, instead of Cuomo's redraw, hopefully he is gone by the time Redistricting happen
