In terms of literal Net gains, 2010. as the GOP gained more seats in the House (64 compared to 49 for the Democrats in 1974) the Senate (6 compared to 4 for the 74 Democrats) and the Governorships (6 for the GOP compared to 4 for the 74 Democrats). In terms of overall impact, I would say 1974 as the Democratic party was really reshaped after that election, whereas in many respects 2010 was a last gasp for Reagan/Bush type movement Conservative Republicans, although some figures that would become prominent during and Post Trump made headway that year. I'd also argue that 1974 was more impressive as the Democrats were able to make such large gains despite already having solid majorities prior to that election.

So my vote on balance goes to 1974.
