Early municipal results don't look that bad for the left, though it may be the bias in the vote counting.

Also: Use the app to see the results.

I'm following the El País website. They are working fine. Smiley

Yeah, the first results are better than expected for the left, however, in Spain normally the later votes are more rightwing friendly.

The most surprising result, so far, is Seville.

With almost 40% counted, PSOE leads comfortably PP:

41.7% PSOE
32.8% PP
  8.9% Vox
  7.5% CA

Huelva has flipped to the PP by around 300 votes. Still a lot to count.

Seville is getting closer, 39-36% in favour of PSOE with 41% left to count.

Madrid counting slow, but with the 16% counted, PP+Vox have just a 29 seat majority.

In Valencia, with 44% counted, PP+Vox have the exactly 17 needed for a majority.

Seville has just flipped to the PP, 38-37% with 72% counted.

Cáceres has also flipped to the Conservatives.

So far a disaster. The main site is in tatters and nothing has been counted for the Autonomous Communities elections, while the El Pais site is just completely glitchy.

The El Mundo one has results by the major cities:

https://www.elmundo.es/elecciones/elecciones-municipales/resultados/index.html

Jaén is so far the only Andalusian provincial capital that has PSOE leading, 40-34% with 68% counted.

So far PSOE is stable or slightly down compared to 2019, which was a good year for them. Maybe handsome Pedro isn't as DOA as I believe.

Also, the Autonomous Communities elections are the last to be counted. The municipales ballots are the first to be counted, thus the slow Communities count.

Trias has just surpassed PSC, 21.2-20.8%. Also, happy that CUP is collapsing. Cheesy

Bildu is right now leading in Vitoria-Gasteiz with 97% counted, but a PSOE-PNV coalition will probably hold on to the city.

In Pamplona, UPN and Bildu are neck and neck.

In Madrid, PP has a majority as Podemos fell bellow the 5% threshold.

Trias was won the elections in Barcelona, but not sure how will he govern.

In Valencia, PP+Vox continues to hold on to a slim majority.

Seville was, in the end, an easy PP win.

Jaén was a slim PSOE win by just 297 votes over the PP.

In Zaragoza, PP almost won a majority.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the Community of Madrid, just 24% counted and Ayuso is at 62 seats.

In the Valencia Community, PP+Vox have a 53 seats, with 49% counted.

Really close in Extremadura, with 42% counted PSOE is 40-38% ahead of PP. PP+Vox have a majority so far.

In Castilla-La-Mancha, PSOE is holding on to a slim 17 seat majority, the bare minimum, but there's still a lot to count.

In Aragón, PP+Vox have the bare minimum for a majority, 34, with 71% counted.

In Baleares, PP+Vox also have a majority with 66% counted.

In the Canary islands, so far, with 16% counted, CC+PP+Vox have a majority. But again, there's still a lot to count here also.

In Cantabria, the end of an era. PRC is polling third and PP+Vox have a slim 18 seat majority.

In Asturias, PSOE is leading but its getting close. PP+Vox+Foro have 22 seats with 23 needed for a majority.
