I'm a sucker for the voice of Ian Gillan in the role, as it's his voice on my vinyl recording of the soundtrack. I designed lights for a stage production of JCSS in 1975 and listened to the album a lot to get a feel for what I wanted in my design and to recognize the cues from memory. I still put it on the turntable once in a while.
