I actually think Michael Steele could hold MD for the GOP more than Rutherford or Glassman.....Steele has good name ID......he could get a sizeable chunk of the Black vote.....

I don't understand what your point is. Just because that election wasn’t  competitive doesn’t mean the Governor election won’t be.

My point is that Franchot is a colossal, beloved institution in the state, even in red areas, and it's hard to see any Republican beating him, especially a has-been with little base appeal like Steele.
