Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Buena Park, California

Hartland almost certainly voted for Trump.

Buena Park probably voted for Bush in ‘04.

Hebbronville, Texas.

Maybe Benjamin Harrison on 1892 or Richard Nixon in 1972. I am pretty sure that Donald Trump will easily win Hebbronville in 2024 however.

It’s the most Democratic leaning city in Beaver County so I’d have to say Nixon in 72.

Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Buena Park, California

Hartland has presidential results recorded going back to 1856, and the last Democrat to carry the town was Samuel J. Tilden in 1876.

Hmmm...probably went blue in 1984. Not sure about 1972 or 1952/1956, since LA County went red in all 3 elections but not by a massive amount. 1928, it went red for sure (LA County gave Hoover 70%). So I'll say either 1928, 1952, 1956 or 1972. Gun to my head, maybe one of the elections in the fifties.

Chicago ... I'm gonna guess Hoover or Coolidge in 1928 or 1924. I'm certain Reagan and Nixon didn't carry Chicago, and I'm doubtful about Ike. So Hoover or Coolidge are my guesses. I don't know if its cheating or what, but I looked up the mayors of Chicago. They elected a Republican mayor by 8% in 1927, which sounds good for Hoover or Coolidge's chances

Montpelier is extremely Democratic leaning, Trump didn’t even get 10% of the vote there. I think it’s possible it hasn’t voted for a Republican since Eisenhower in 1956.

Barring the obvious doubt surrounding Republican landslides, 1960 was still a major rout for Nixon in the state outside of Burlington and its environs, so I highly doubt that JFK won Montpelier.

According to NH town maps, this is Clinton '96.

I’m honestly not sure. I’m pretty sure it voted for Trump in 2020, despite Trump’s showing in the whole county being the worst for any Republican in over a century. I think it probably voted for Wilson in 1912, but if not then, 1868, or maybe even 1860, would be the last time it voted for a Democrat.

I'm thinking the answer is Trump 2016, as I'm guessing Biden took it in 2020

Atlantic City these days votes Democratic by like 70 point margins, but it’s also only 16% Non-Hispanic White, which I imagine was much higher back in the day. I’m going to guess 1956, with Eisenhower.

Possibly never given how far right it has voted relative to Porter County, and I doubt it would have voted left of cities like Portage any time in the past century. Maybe 1892 if I had to guess?

Evanston, IL

(I know the answer to this already, but I'm curious if anyone else knows.)
