Thought this might be a fun challenge. One poster names a city that always votes for a certain party, and the other tries to guess when it last voted opposite. I'll start. Detroit, Michigan.

Couldn't find any results for New Brunswick, but my best guess is 1972.

Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Carter, 1976.

DC (if it had always been able to vote).

I'm going with my gut and saying 88 or 84, but 72 wouldn't surprise me either.

As a college town in the south I honestly think there's a possibility it's never gone for a Republican. Alachua County has gone Republican before but even in 72 and 84 Democrats got 43 and 46% respectively and it wouldn't surprise me if a significant chunk of that came from Gainsville.

Possibly Bill Clinton in 96, but if not that, LBJ in 64.

The Woodlands wasn't established until 1974, so it's pretty much guaranteed that it's never gone Democratic. I don't know how developed the area was prior to then, but I doubt it was that much in that stage of sprawl development.

If not 1992 for Clinton then 1976 for Carter. One of those since those were the last times democrats won Boone County, AR.

Either 84 or 80 , the surrounding county barely voted for Reagan in the former, and by double digits in the latter. If not either of those maybe 72.

Considering that Bush won Dallas County by fewer than 2 percentage points, it’s almost certain that he lost the actual city of Dallas in 2004. Probably more likely HW in ‘88, as the city tends to vote about 10 points to the left of the county.
