For me it’s:
- end civil forfeiture
- shut down the Troubled Teen Industry
- ban gay conversion therapy
- Equality Act
- legalize marijuana

if he legalizes, he will be one of the greatest presidents of all-time (but he won't)

I completely support legalising marijuana, but to state that if Biden does so it will be one of the greatest presidential achievements of all time is ridiculously hyperbolic.

$15/hr minimum wage
Legalize marijuana federally
John Lewis Voting Rights Act
End child detention on the southern border
Bold action on climate change (or parts of a bigger plan that they could do in the second half of his term)
Public option if possible
Cancel at least some student debt (should be all but i’m not expecting that much from him)
Obviously wipe out COVID by continuing to distribute vaccines, issue guidance to states, and then leave a comprehensive pandemic response strategy for the next administration

These are the ones I think have a strong chance of happening:

  • End the Covid pandemic and recession
  • Pass the stimulus bill in roughly its current, $1.9 billion form
  • Replace Breyer and appoint other left-leaning judges
  • Big infrastructure investments
  • Big clean energy investments
  • Some kind of healthcare reform (e.g. implement public option, lower Medicare age, increase Obamacare subsidies)
  • Make college more affordable and forgive at least $10k of student loans
  • Raise taxes on high earners and corporations
  • Increased foreign aid to Central America
  • Continue to lead on themes of unity and conciliation, hopefully lower the temperature on partisan battles at least somewhat

These are ones where my fingers are crossed:

  • Raise minimum wage
  • Equality Act
  • Dream Act
  • PR+DC statehood
  • Pass the voting rights bill
  • Expanded background checks for gun purchasers
  • Restore the Iran nuclear deal
  • Reform and strength welfare programs
  • Universal Pre-K
  • Legalize marijuana
  • Use anti-trust laws to break up (or at least better regulate) large companies
  • Limit losses (and ideally make gains) in 2022 midterms

Other than the obvious like ending covid-19 and economic recovery...
  • DC statehood.
  • $15 minimum wage.
  • Increasing national security, especially with regard to China.
  • Abolition of the death penalty.
  • Public option for healthcare.
  • Protecting Dreamers.
  • Universal preschool and baby bonds.
  • Some form of student debt forgiveness.
