Amazing how a short time can change things, but the thing that puzzles me is that I presumed that was already known or at least expected, assuming you are referring to the recent allegations about racism in the royal family and not something else that I missed.

I mean, maybe re: Philip, but I don't think anybody ever thought it went as far as Elizabeth herself. (And yes, I'm indeed referring to said allegations.)

She is a 20s child who grew up around aging Victorians, so with that frame of reference it comes as less of a surprise to me.
