McAfee is endorsed by Trump after Trump is forced to step back due to health issues. Charges against McAfee are suspiciously dropped, some saying that a number of figures involved in the case were bribed. Saying the "deep state" is against him, McAfee has the base whipped into a frenzy and clears the field. Meanwhile Democrats have a contentious primary after Biden also steps out due to health issues. Harris emerges the winner, but scars from the primary and a bad campaign by Harris narrowly give the win to McAfee.

A virus kills most of the over-20 population and as such the only votes are for memes.

Trump looks set to win the nomination after DeSantis flops, but after the 2nd or 3rd R state primary (and after DeSantis has dropped out) he has a massive heart attack/other debilitating medical disaster. On his hospital bed he announces his withdrawal and support for Gabbard, calling her "a wonderful woman who Democrats hate because she won't bow to the woke mob". Winning the nomination thanks to his support and a crowded field (including DeSantis who re-enters) splitting the vote against her, she snatches the nomination. Economic issues break down and a new recession hits, bringing a tide of anti-incumbent sentiment that allows Gabbard to win narrowly with WI and PA, as well as a nail-biter in NV.
