It's still a red state, but as Biden hold strong approvals, the House races that Rs need to reclaim the Majority may not all go R, some of them may shift back D due to snowstorm. Interesting, that Rs are getting 4 new CONGRESSIAL districts

I don't think it will affect the election

The average citizen is freezing and frustrated but I don't think the average citizen is sitting around thinking "if only previous republican governors connected us to one of the two national grids"

Because tbh this is a abscure fact that I didn't even know about until this storm and only knew from woke instragram accounts

Most Texans will think this is a once in a century storm and there was no way to expect this. This will be forgotten in a month. Did anyone talk about Hurricane Harvey in 2018?

The House may start to revert back D and it's possible, with 51-55 seats in the Senate that with TX net gain seats D's can wind back at 235 where they were at before, it will affect our House races for sure

This people doesn't exist.

Hundreds of thousands of lifelong Republicans in the state vote Democratic for the first time because on February 17th, Ted Cruz had the audacity to fly to Cancun while millions of hard-working taxpayers suffered with no heat and electricity. As a result, they change their voter registration from Republican to Democrat and vote for Kamala Harris in 2024 because at least she has the will to be on TV and talk about how much she cares for them when a crisis happens. She may want to take away their guns or open up the border, but they can't even be bothered to vote for the same political party as such a disgraceful man as Rafael "Ted" Edward Cruz.

There was even some viral videos of Texans trying to prove the snow and ice that fell didn't exist.

I think Florida is teaching Texas something...
