How embarrassing are the other kids that Christian is the one he chose to publicly acknowledge?

Probably less. The obvious reason not to acknowledge them from the start is that they were illegitimate, and for one thing, their lives were less likely than Christian's to be warped by celebrity culture.

Beyond this, Christian probably knew about (at least one of) his half-siblings before these leaks. Even if his dad never intended to exert it, he would have felt the pressure of being "the legitimate one" since he found out. Maybe that wouldn't have affected him at all, but it's a real thing.

I see we have entered into the "committing a heresy" phase of the campaign.

Did the GOP even vet this guy?

He's non white, had Trump's endorsement and played football. Of course they didn't.

Also, theological arguments are probably the last kind of tactic Walker should be using, considering who is opponent is.

I think that Walker quote isn't new...let me look a bit.

Edit: here's the original tweet with the recording, which just identifies it as an "old interview".  I can't find the date, but Walker looks considerably younger than he does today.

At a certain point, Walker's campaign is more sad than funny. The man very obviously has brain damage.

It will be more sad when polarization leads to this brain damaged train wreck becoming senator

Glad to see Walker supports statehood for PR and DC. I wonder if him moderating on this issue could help win over white women in Cobb County.

East Carolina University poll shows Warnock and Walker in dead heat, both at 46%.

This is while Abrams trails Kemp by 5%.

Well this is interesting. I thought Warnock would narrowly survive based on the weakness of Walker as a candidate but this could be damaging.

Warnock used campaign funds to fight personal lawsuit

On a scale of 1-10 for scandals this seems like a -1. Easy for Warnock to argue the lawsuit was filed to politically damage him and thus using campaign funds is appropriate. Worst case scenario, which I think is unlikely, he has to repay the funds and pay a small fine. Nothingburger.

Not to mention, wasn't Walker involved with either the same type or some other FEC violation?

Probably as close to toss-up as it gets right now. Shooting a shot in the dark I'd still give Walker the thin edge but you could probably flip a coin.

It won’t matter.  For better or worse, these sorts of scandals never really resonate with voters.

WARNOCK is leading 48/44 in the last poll and it's a Jan Runoff like the Gov race if no one gets 50 it goes to a runoff like LA what's so hard about users accepting the fact GA won't be decided on EDay LA and GA are Runoff states

Give the edge to Walker, plse it's been tied in almost every poll

Hope you're right. Is that even much in the news in Georgia? And even if so, we're in a 24 hour news cycle and it's early July. The election won't take place for another four months.

Tilt R -> Lean R. The media holds Democrats to an impossible standard, and Republicans to no standard at all.

This is a bit ironic cause in this race Walker's gotten most of the bad press and Warnock has gotten mostly positive press.

The reality is that the media will rerun this story, even if it turn out to be a nothing burger every single time Hershel Walker say or does something stupid, because balance.

Good damn it

At what point do you start thinking about getting a different candidate?
