Many people feel that Florida Sen. Rick Scott wants to run for president in 2024, that's why he ran for Senate as a stepping stone since Florida governor is term-limited at 2 terms; who runs if he declines to run again?

I personally think: Andrew Pollack, Dan Marino, or Al Leiter, or maybe Byron Donalds may be the nominee

Dan Marino, seriously? Anyways maybe Elvira Salazar, especially if her seat is ceded to shore up 26 and 25, but who knows

Byron Donalds? I would feel Salazar would be more likely to run for Rubio's seat when it opens up.

Yes, the former Miami Dolphins quarterback is a Republican, I'm sure he is probably a Trumper, as well......

Literally why would he run though? He is probably making far more money right now, than he would as a Senator.

Matt Gaetz or Ivanka Trump.

They could also nominate a Cuban candidate, such as Maria Elvira Salzar, Carlos Gimenez, Mario Diaz Balart, or Jeanette Nunez.

Don’t forget Francis Suarez.

In all seriousness, I see Rubio’s seat as the designated “Cuban” seat and think a non-Cuban will be Scott’s successor.

Why not Carlos Gimenez?
