Yes I believe he does support NAFTA and CAFTA. Like I said before, Granholm will rip DeVos apart in the debates.

What makes you so sure? As Granholm exploits her accomplishments as governor which have largely been overshadowed, her numbers shall rise.

Same thing to you: What makes you so sure she can rise back and win when she's been down in the polls for so long and doesn't seem to have to power and money to win?

Here I go again with my DeVos bashing, but this time I want a specific answer to a specific question.   Dick DeVos is a smooth salesman whose company (Amway) has scammed countless people out of millions (billions) of dollars.

How would this be the makings of a good leader for Michigan?Huh??  Please be specific.  DO NOT come back with bad things about Granholm.   Talk about Mr. DeVos only and how his backgroud running Amway is a good credential for governorship.

Simple, short statements that are designed to be insulting are not acceptable.  I want details.

First, how has DeVos "scammed countless people out of millions (billions) of dollars?

Then I can I answer.

I still have absolutely no idea what you're referring to.

But, what's wrong with them selling people soap?

Are you trying to blame people not being able to sell soap on DeVos?

LOL if you are.

That's business. If fools don't understand how business works, they should participate in it. I wouldn't criticize a company (and the guy who ran it) for other people's inability to profit from their choices.

Michiganders are too smart to elect a sleazy huckster like DeVos.

So Jake, lets change topics a bit here.  Your other posts sugggest that you are deeply against abortion.  If, for example, a doctor makes a lot of money on performing abortions, is this "just business" after all, it is legal you know.......just like Amway.

You're attempting to muddy the water here. If what you claim is true, Amway made money selling soap to people. Those people may not have been able to sell that soap. I don't know, because you haven't substantiated your claims to any degree.

On to your question, it's certainly alright under a capitalist system for an abortion doctor to make money for the work he does. I would certainly rather abortion not be a business sector, but if it is one, the doctor has every right to charge extortionate amounts of money for the abortion. That doesn't mean that the abortion is right, just like the fact that Amway got filthy rich doesn't necessarily mean that capitalism is right.

In summary, so you're following your own analogy.

Abortion Dr. = Amway
Profiting from abortion = Selling soap
Person seeking abortion = Person wanting soap
Abortion = Capitalism

In other words, your comparison doesn't work. I would like to see you substantiate your "soap" claims, but I'll be surprised if you do (seeing how you've passed up numerous oppurtunities to make an actual point over the past few days).

Uh, there is nothing to excuse until to post proof that DeVos was involved in scamming people. I've asked for that a good 3-4 times, and each time you've failed to post anything that proves he did anything wrong. When you produce facts, evidence, proof, etc., I'll form my opinion on DeVos's actions.

Alright, that complaint was filed no more than a year after DeVos became employed at Amway. If you want to blame anyone, blame his father, because what you're trying to do is smear DeVos for a business plan you view as unethical that his father helped put in place.
