New York Governor George Pataki runs for President in 2000, and he wins the nomination by winning the New Hampshire Primaries, then winning in Michigan, Virginia, California, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Florida and Illinois and Pennsylvania and forcing George W. Bush out of the race after his victory in Pennsylvania.
He faces Al Gore in the general election.
