 Sad to see Downing out I really liked his platform and campaign. If I was in MA id probably vote for Danielle Allen shes an awesome progressive and advocate for RCV. Not that it matters much anyway if Healey runs the race is hers no doubt about it.

Haven't been following this closely. Is there a reason Kennedy passed on running? I would've guessed he'd be all over this.

Healeys too popular she's gonna win the Primary and General in a cakewalk. Honestly tho Kennedy Would have a pretty decent shot at winning the LG race the field is super fractured  He could also go for Healey's old spot as AG if he wanted to. Maybe he's just exhausted from electoral politics after how disastrously his race against Markey went in 2020.
