From Shelby/Jones to Tuberville/Brooks in the span of just 2 years. Any worse delegational downgrades in recent history?

Not as bad but going from Corcker/Alexander to Blackburn/Hagerty comes to mind.

On the flip side their neighbors probably have the biggest upgrade (Perdue/Loeffler to Ossoff/Warnock)

He wouldn't get the nomination. He couldn't make the runoff last time. If he did, I'm not sure he would lose a general in the midterm of a D President in such a red state.

Who cares. He probably doesn't know who he is. No politician does immense background research before liking a tweet.

They’ll find some lawyer, doctor, or local politician ready to retire with the pockets to take a few months off work to bus around the state and can loose with dignity.

This is a guy who has made numerous anti-gay comments, remarking that "homosexual activities" were harming the moral core of the country, and going so far as to blame Megan Rapinoe (lol). But according to his mistress, he loved being pegged. He also made numerous racist comments in her presence.

I'll say it again: this party is completely beyond repair and if you continue to support it, you are a bad person. This is no longer about a difference of opinion (which is of course, fine) - it's about a difference of morality and reality. It's crazy to me that Republicans on this forum display such a persecution complex and try to normalize supporting the GOP / frame it as 'morally okay.' The blue avatars here would benefit from posting less and reflecting more.

It's never not been all projection with this party.

Lol  this guy:

"Merrill made headlines in 2019 for stating in a town hall that “homosexual activities” and “wife swap shows” are driving moral decline in America. "

...

“I am not able to stay away from you, so that’s the reason why I have to have help in order to do that … the help is coming from the Lord,” Merrill said.

“You already went against your marriage … So you’ve already done it, you can’t take that back, you can’t change it,” McPherson said.

...

"“I hope someone can use me as an example of how they have the opportunity to accomplish things, but because of poor choices and poor decisions in things, it can result in a negative impact for a lot of people that you did not intend to impact,” Merrill said...."Maybe some good can come out of this for somebody else.”"
