Unfortunately, Taylor Swift was 1 year too young to run for Senate in 2018. I say unfortunately because she might have had the best chance of any Democrat of winning that seat. Even still, looking forward she honest to god may be our best hope of rebuilding the party in TN. Which says more about the dire state of the Democratic Party in TN than anything about Taylor Swift, frankly.

But it would be close....
