it was better than the part during the news when a non-funny Asian man played an old Jewish lesbian.  So a non-funny Asian man can't play a fictional race on a sitcom, but it's fine to play a lesbian?  The woke mob is nothing if not inconsistent.

What does SNL have to do with “the woke mob?” I seem to recall that quite a few of their jokes, especially on Weekend Update, have actually been attacked by “the woke mob” in recent years.

I agree that bit was unfunny, and I even agree that “the woke mob” is largely inconsistent, but you seem to be projecting a lot into this, searching for a controversy that’s not there.
