That could be the only reason why the Steinbrenner's would even consider firing Cashman.

That said, I think his job is safe for one more season, though if his contract happens to be expiring (anyone know if it is, by chance?) I think the Yankees decline to renew it, and pursue someone like Billy Beane or Theo Epstein.

Giants and Dodgers own the best records in MLB as I said before usually Except for Football where Rams can win Superbowl with MVP Matthew Stafford, MLB and NBA with Lakers usually have the best team win championship

That's why Bucks, Eagles and NY Giants and Packers whom upset Troy Palamolou Steelers in 2011/ underdogs won Superbowl, Steelers were supposed to win in 2011 with Troy Palamolou that wasn't the same Steelers team that lost to Packers this yr

The Yankees don't go outside the Family (or at least the NYC baseball known commodities) and especially won't for that country bumpkin.

Carlos Beltrán will probably be the first choice. Cheating scandal certainly hasn't plagued Alex Cora who has tremendous job security now. Maybe Miguel Cairo? I've had it with these inexperienced managers though personally. I don't think they will be anything more than pawns.
