Dole endorsed Trump 2016. I don't know about 2020, but the guy is still alive. Goldwater would have endorsed either Biden or Jorgensen. Back in the 1990s, he endorsed a Democratic candidate for congress in Arizona because he felt it was better for the Republican Party. I would absolutely not have endorsed Trump or voted for him.
