University of Tennessee Social Science Research Institute poll, July 5-16, 501 registered voters, MoE ± 4.4%:

Bredesen (D): 49%
Bryson (R): 8%

A lot of undecides in this poll, but Bryson getting only 8% is really, really pathetic.

This poll is worthless. The TN GOP absolutely has more than an 8% base, though Bryson has been pretty invisible.
