If all of the voters in Ohio watched the debate- Ryan would definitely win.  Even on look/ affect ... An average Ohio voter would likely identify much more with Ryan.

The question is- will enough voters, follow closely enough, to put Ryan over the win line.

I was looking at Kerry Bush W debate all the tax cuts that's not middle class tax cuts take money out of social programs but then Rich people donate to charities does that makes sense no it doesn't that's why we need Ds to win in Nov but part of the issue is that Trump hasn't been indicted for his crimes, the Rs are acting like it's business as usual with Trump that he didn't commit not one single crime but we know as Ds he did

Tax cuts are Trojan Horses they give you a fat refund but it takes money out of social programs, Bush W defended his own no child left behind by giving an excessive tax cuts to the richest and took money out of after school child care subsidy and school lunch programs

I can’t wait to see everyone’s brain aneurysms on here when JD Vance wins by 10

You won't be seeing mines. I've viewed Vance as the favorite the entire time, and have said that he would win by about Trump's margin over Biden. I wouldn't be surprised if he won by more.

If he wins by 10%+, I think it would either suggests Dems are really having a *TERRIBLE* night nationally or just that voters literally do not care about anything beyond D v R. I'm skeptical that Dems have much further to fall in Ohio overall but the state certainly isn't coming back anytime soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan keep it tighter than the 2020 presidential result, either. A margin similar to that of DeWine's over Cordray in 2018 would also be plausible. But it's more likely that he loses by as much as Biden did, then that he comes that close. There is considerable ticket-splitting occurring between DeWine and Ryan, but it won't be enough for the latter to win.

Just a reminder polls in 2018 and 2020 we're off in red states not blue states so Johnson, Masters and Oz and LAXALT will underpoll Ds especially LAXALT the polls declared him Gov Elect in 2018 over Sisolak and he lost same with Walker over Evers by this 538 model Nate Silver had LAXALT and Walker winning

It's a 303 map anyways but there can be a surprise like KS GOV and OH Sen in 2018 Ryan, FRANKEN and MCMILLIAN can win it's called upsets

Nate Silver had FL Gillum and LAXALT and Gov Walker winning

But he picked Kelly to defeat Kobach

Choking would imply that he’s blowing something there for the taking.

It’s not there for the taking. In a blue wave yes. Any other time in this polarized society? No chance in Ohio

Lol the MARIST poll shows a Tie 47/47, it's called voting too not just polls just like we had no chance in AK which was tilt R for PALIN not PELTOLA

You said we were gonna lose GA  we had no chance in 2020 to win a Runoff and we did

LOL Republicans are nuts

LOL Inflation, crime and the economy are the issues on the voters mind and they're talking about a hour long riot almost two years ago.

It's tone deafness with the voters.

Ryan isn't bringing it up on his own, he's answering a question. What should he have said?

The problem is that the Ds should of elected Tim Ryan to a Leadership post even if he wasn't elected Minority Leader he would of built his rank and file, he could of been Minority Whip but they kept Hoyer and Clyburn, they were too old and doesn't bring anything anymore and what did we get from Clyburn he endorsed Biden and he may not have been the strongest D that's why we didn't win the map in 2020

That's why Tim Ryan may lose he should of been in D leadership but Ds didn't want that they wanted the same elderly leadership, if Ryan was part of D leadership in the H he could of been better prepared for OH Senate run

He can still win Tuesday night, I didn't support Pelosi staying Minority Leader in the H after 2010 DLC did
