TexasGurl’s politics aren’t that unique and her personality isn’t very noticeable for me to give a rating. She’s perhaps the most major person here on account of her mod status and number of posts that seems quite unremarkable.

Still, I can barely remember what she even posts, so I cannot in any good faith give an opinion.

Given the above, she’s probably an incredibly bland normie which is probably for the best for her.

To be honest, reading the 2009 thread with the 2021 one, while there may be a way to do, Atlas seems better to me in the "weird fan clubs for female posters" department.

Maybe by 2030 those fan clubs will be a thing of the past!

I don't yet have the obligatory fan club, but I suppose that may come with time. I'm sure I'll both lovingly relish in it and live timidly in its fearful shadow as the masses drool at my feet.

I do agree, however, that it's typical questionable parasocial behavior emboldened by patriarchal norms, and we could use less of it.

FF. I can think of one or two disagreements I've had with her moderation, but she's a principled veteran, a mom, and a welcome break from the Millennial-Zoomer milieu of Atlas.

I mean, if you don't like her, you don't like her. You're entitled to your opinion. But "arrogant and condescending" are the last qualities I would associate with her.

Obviously, that is your assessment. She certainly tends to adopt a very "dismissive" attitude when addressing other posters who question her decisions or who have been the target of them. I myself remember an unpleasant interaction that I had with her, before my hiatus. Such impressions-whether from someone online or from someone in real life-tend to stick in my memory.
