LOL

1. Imagine ever thinking Trump would help you or do what you want.

2. Mitch wouldn’t let him? Gee, didn’t realize the president answers to Mitch McConnell!

Glenn Greenwald, Kim Iversen, and Mark Crispin Miller are the good people in this fight.

I don’t disagree but it’s not like democrats are more willing to help, so he has to try somewhere.

Attributing all those virus deaths to Trump is lazy.  While he is partly responsible, no leader would've prevented all the deaths.  Definitely not in a country this large with as big as an independent streak we have here.

Does Greenwald realize there's more to life than foreign policy?

Maybe he just doesn't want authoritarian government from the left or right?

Oh yes, the famously liberal, pro-journalist Putin regime which Greenwald has relentlessly defended is not an example of authoritarian government AT ALL.

Have a link to any of these articles? I cannot find them and I've only read his pieces last couple years or so.
it says something that we never got a response to this.  Should be simple to find a few articles or Tweets if he "relentlessly defended".  A lot of red avatars "liked" the post, so this should be really easy.  Yet here we are.

<I did some casual Googling for you, and I ain't finding sh**t.  A lot of people saying he's defended Putin, but the only thing he seems to have said was that it's wrong to say that Putin stole the election for Trump, which is a 100% accurate thing to say.  Ball is in your court.>

Also, keep in mind that I do not like Putin or Russia (I'm an American of a certain age, it's in our blood), so it won't take much to get me to agree with you here, I'm just not seeing it.

The Hill one gives me a "page not found" and the New Yorker one is as long as a New Yorker article, and aintnobodygottimeforthat so I just read the paragraphs that contain the 15 mentions of Putin and I'm not seeing what you all are claiming.  But I've got different biases and such than you guys, so maybe if you spell it out for me?

(not that I didn't see things I didn't like that he said, but nothing even close, at least in my opinion, to "relentlessly defending Putin" as was suggested)

There's a huge difference between "Russian interference did not tip the election to Trump" and "There was zero Russian interference in the 2016 election at all and Putin and Trump are totally blameless and hey look at the redacted hack job summary of the Mueller Report Bill Barr released, this proves it, haha checkmate liberals." Greenwald has argued the latter.

Seems like mostly lightheartedly defending Putin is about all I got from it.  Russiagate still got so little results for the 3 years of nonstop bludgeoning news coverage and that's what GG was railing against, imo.

I mean, there's little left to say about this, is there? He's gone full MAGA hack because muh #populism Purple heart and muh pseudo-anti-interventionism, and that's been obvious for years to any leftist who isn't foreign-policy-only themselves.

Glenn also tweeted yesterday that the rise in Gen Z-ers identifying as trans is a result of people telling little girls to identify as trans rather than lesbian, as if sexuality and gender identity are the same thing. And also this bullsh**t-covered gem:

Greenwald and other "leftists" like him (people such as Jimmy Dore) will outright endorse the Republican Party by 2024.

I can appreciate the general idea that people with lots of followers shouldn't do the quote-RT dunk on random people, but it really does reek to see that argument coming from the same progressive journalists who do this all the time (especially but certainly not exclusively those in the post-Gawker orbit).

Citation needed there
Anyway, it wasn't a random person, he singled out, of three authors with their name on the piece, the intern with literally nothing else to her name.

Cute way he conflates the relatively nominal u.s. involvement in Libya and Yemen with the full-scale wars in Iraq and Afghanistan under Bush. But you do you Greenwald.

Okay for those who arguing “oh this is just sexism with critics saying this fragile woman can’t handle criticism”, the problem people have this targeting her isn’t that we think she can’t handle criticism but because Glenn has a notorious troll fan base and why making her the target he is unleashing these rabid dogs on her
